Intro to Soldering

Friday, October 29, 2021

Build a simple circuit with a soldering iron and components. Learn to safely use a soldering iron correctly to join components and wires. You’ll solder LEDs, resistors, and timing chips to a printed circuit board. When you’re done, you’ll have made a battery powered medallion with flashing lights that you can take home and show off to your friends.

If you have your own soldering tools, please bring them. While tools will be provided, it's always best to learn on your own equipment.

Kids welcome but must be accompanied by an adult if under 16.
