St. Pete Makers Summer Camp

The St. Pete Makers Summer camp offers a learning experience that mirrors our eclectic city. The focus is on originality, innovation and self-expression with real world experience in creative business models. Camp participants will work with local makers and artists to learn the basics of the following crafts: 3D modeling and printing, LED electronic design, woodworking, and writing. Our camp is for kids ages 9-16.

Week of July 29 - August 2

Cost:
Hours: 9 am - 3 pm - $250/Week 
After School - 3 - 5 pm - $60 per week

Includes material costs.

Requirements for class:
Journal and packed lunch or money to order lunch

Recommended:
Laptop for 3D Design

• 3D Modeling: Design and print a 3D object to exhibit
• LED Electronics: Design and construct an LED wearable art piece to wear
• Woodworking: Construction of wooden pedestal to display their 3D piece
• Documentation: Brief Written Description of 3D Project (Don't worry, it will be way WAY fun!)
