Ways to Help

St. Pete Makers, Inc. is a member-supported not-for-profit organization.  Our funding comes from membership dues, class revenues, grants, donations, and sponsorships from local companies.

We are in the process of filing for IRS 501(c)(3) tax status, but your donations may be tax deductible.  Please contact us for more information.

We welcome voluntary charitable gifts and donations in many forms, both big and small.  Consider offering your time, talents, supplies, tools, equipment, and even cash!  Please help grow our capabilities and outreach.

Supplies – St. Pete Makers needs consumable supplies such as sandpaper, masking tape, WD-40, even paper towels and toilet paper.  Donated supplies allow us to reserve our cash for bigger goals.

Tools – We can put to work serviceable hand tools and power tools of all shapes and sizes.

Equipment – We want to build-out our shop with bigger and better woodworking, sheet metal, welding, and machining equipment.  We will consider both donations and consignments.  In some cases, we may resell donated equipment to convert it to cash to acquire different equipment or for other St. Pete Makers purposes.

General office supplies, furniture, workbenches, etc.

Time – Like any small business run by volunteers, our needs are many and diverse, and any hour of support is welcomed!

Talents – Each of us is uniquely good at something. Mentor a colleague, share a skill, start a project, teach a class, provide information resources, and help make St. Pete Makers a continuously better place.
